Here it is! The Super Market in all its glory. A Barbie Mini Mart repopulated with superheroes, a Jawa, and Lennier. Doctor Doom rings up his purchases, Reed and Sue shop together, Lennier eats his lunch, Spidey checks everyone out, Black Widow enjoys an Icee, and Cap and Daredevil… well, click and see. Don’t ask about the Jawa. |

Finally, a decent use for Daredevil’s open-mouth head sculpt. Here’s a closeup. |

Everyone’s favorite stretchy and invisible couple, Reed and Sue Richards, get some quick shopping done. Sue’s got a loaf of bread, and Reed’s got a canister of cake mix. Hey, once you’ve been bombarded with cosmic rays, why worry about nutrition? |

Closeup of Captain America doing his best Dazzler impression, and Black Widow taking a cool Icee break from her Russian assassin duties. |

Lennier enjoys his lunch, while Widow and DD provide thematic foreground. Everyone loves a cool, refreshing drink! |
The Famous Covers Living Room:

Here, we’ve got the heroes lounging at home after a tough day fighting good and/or evil. Falcon’s makin’ time with the ladies, Mr. Sinister is grumbling about cookie crumbs, and Wolvie’s just tuckered out. Fun Fact: Mjolnir is actually capable of being a universal remote control. |

Closeup of the couch action. I can’t help it. The look on Falcon’s face and the stretched-out wing mojo just forced this pose upon me. |

Closeup of the Anal-Retentive Supervillain. This was originally gonna be Jadzia Dax, but Sinister looked even funnier with the Dirt Devil. |

Yoda, fed up with all that “size matters not” crap, finds himself a REAL man to turn into a Jedi. (That’s Dozer from Wetworks, in case you were wondering.) |

Let’s rock! Earth’s two greatest masters of mayhem, Duke Nukem and the Man-Eating Cow, have formed an uneasy truce for an all-out frag and feast fest. |

Here, at last, is Cathy’s 12″ custom Lara Croft, made as a present for my brother, Kevin. This picture is the front view, with Uzi’s at the ready. I also made up an animated GIF at the suggestion of my brother. To see it (355K), click here. |

Lara Croft, back view. Lara is made from a 12″ Classic Collection Jane body, with a repainted Mulan head. Most of the accessories come from 21st Century Toys, although the glasses were made by Cathy from Barbie glasses and red cellophane. The backpack is full of game-related goodies. |

Here’s a closer shot of Lara, her M-16, her head, eyes, and sunglasses. |

My contribution to the custom Lara package, other than buying the accessories. The box is a standard Airborne Jane box, with new top, bottom, side, front, and flap panels created by me using star Office 5.0, printed out on legal size paper with a color printer, and taped over the existing box. |

Lara shows off the inside of her custom box. Get your mind out of the gutter. Pictures for the box were pilfered from various Web sites, as was the box text. |

This is the custom doll made for me by Cathy and my brother for Christmas ’97. It’s William “Blade” Hunter, from the old Dynamix adventure game, “Rise of the Dragon”. Coat by Cathy, shirt, pants, belt, shoes, and gun acquired, modified, and/or made by Kevin. If anyone knows where a good screenshot or picture of Blade can be found, let me know. I’d love to have one for comparison. |

Do you need . . . emotional content? Cathy made this outfit for my brother so he could have an “Enter The Dragon” GI Joe. She did this in a week. Any wonder why I keep her? |
|
Full Res (49K) |
Speaking of “emotional content”. The Enter The Dragon outfit was made complete by the addition of a 12″ scale athletic supporter, shown here in all its . . . glory. Not for the timid of heart. |

Where’s the damn speakeasy? Here’s “Elliot Ness Joe”, assembled by my brother with a little help from Cathy. It’s an altered Henry Higgins Ken suit, if you were wondering. |

Half-Res (22K) Full Res (69K) |
From the game Metal Gear Solid, the Arctic Genome Soldier, assembled from various bits and pieces by my brother. Pretty nifty. Still needs black mittens. |

Custom 12″ Space Ghost, by Cathy. Originally designed as a costume for Ken, it later migrated to a multi-jointed Ken, and now, to a Classic Collection Joe body. Someday, we’ll redo the head. |
